Malaria and HIV are geographically in the tropics subtropics of world, including sub-Saharan Africa. Understanding overlapping effect both infections, especially among pregnant women, is crucial managing women during antenatal care visits, postpartum babies. It was realized that prevalence malaria HIV-positive ranges between 31–61%, while for non-HIV infected still stands 10 36%. Co-infection 0.52 56.3%.
